A truly cost effective alternative to wood and laminate
Vinyl flooring is available in a wide range of colours and finishes, from wood and stone effects to the traditional marble and chipped effect. Standard vinyls are suitable for nearly all locations that require a decorative hard wearing surface. Vinyl flooring comes in a variety of types including vinyl floor tiles, rolls and is sometimes referred to as lino or linoleum.
Vinyl flooring is fully welded, so minor spills are no problem. However, if the area is subject to excessive water or grease then you may need to safety vinyl.
Vinyl floor tiles are extremely hard wearing and are available with a pre-polished surface to reduce maintenance often at lower costs than most other floor coverings.
Safety Vinyl prevents slips
For a highly durable, slip resistant surface, you need a safety vinyl flooring. These can incorporate a surface micro texture to provide grip. The new generation of safety flooring uses either micro textures or a pure vinyl wear layer impregnated with quartz crystals that vastly improves cleaning and long term appearance.
Various slip resistant finishes are available, from a light grip for bathrooms and domestic kitchens to heavy industrial safety flooring.
